Noura Elouafi is a seasoned Project Manager and Solar Power Electrical Engineer with more than 20 years of experience leading complex, high-impact renewable energy and power electronics initiatives across North America, Europe, and Asia. Known for her strategic thinking, rigorous technical expertise, and exceptional leadership, she specializes in managing multi-disciplinary solar projects from concept to completion—optimizing performance, reducing risk, and driving product excellence.
With a strong foundation in power electronics design and reliability engineering, Noura has played a pivotal role in the development, quality assurance, and launch of numerous solar inverter platforms, including the XC, CL, XW, MPPT, and GT series. Her work has directly contributed to reducing warranty costs, lowering system downtime, and elevating customer satisfaction across global markets.
At Sun Power Canada, Noura leads concurrent solar energy projects with a focus on resource planning, risk analysis, stakeholder alignment, and on-time delivery. Previously, during her six-year tenure at Schneider Electric, she served as Senior Project Quality Leader, where she established quality and reliability plans for more than 29 solar inverter projects and set quantifiable quality goals that consistently strengthened product competitiveness. She also coordinated multinational engineering teams—leveraging global time zones to accelerate development cycles—and acted as a central communication hub between engineering, quality, and external stakeholders.
Her earlier engineering career at Xantrex Technology and MDA Corporation. included designing advanced inverter systems, performing in-depth failure analysis, and developing high-reliability power modules used in renewable energy applications and aerospace programs, some of which have operated successfully for over 20 years at the space station.
Fluent in Arabic, English, and French, Noura holds a Master of Engineering in Systems and Technology from ÉTS Montréal and has completed PhD-level coursework in Robotics at Polytechnique Montréal. She is a licensed Professional Engineer in British Columbia and previously in Quebec. A committed lifelong learner, she has completed extensive professional development in project management, lean methodologies, reliability engineering, communication, and leadership.
